Join us at Bar Natasha on June 13th for the 3rd annual KC Wave Fashion Show. Proceeds benefit KCAVP and KC Wave. Fashion this year provided by Andrew Christian, AussieBum, Gigo, Joe Snyder, JM, Low Tee, HE, Steven and Zinfadel by Milo. Justin Van Pelt, star of the recent Hedwig and the ANgry Inch and 'Dirty Dorothy' will emcee. Tickets are $10 and tables $100. Purchase a table here

| KC Wave Swim Meet:

On
September 22, KC Wave will host a Kansas City
Masters Swim meet for adults. The time is set for 12
to 5pm. Cost is
$25 for USMS members or $45 to swim and get
registered. Click here

This meet
is geared for first-time swimmers. Of course, more
experienced swimmers are welcome. As a beginner
swimmer, this is your chance to compete in a meet.
Everyone is required to swim a 50 free, a leg of the 4x50
free relay, and a leg of the 4x50 medley (back, breast,
fly and freestyle).
After the
meet, we'll head down to the Plaza Art Fair.

| KC Wave Fashion Show
A Total Hit! |

| Thank
you to everyone who came out on June 22nd . The fashion
show was a total hit! We raised over $4000 this year
for us and the Kansas City
AntiViolence Project, besting our record last
year. Thank you to: SwimQuik, Sitzmark, Birdies and
Zinfadel by Milo for fashion. Chadwick Brooks and the crew
at KC Mag for design
and program. Bar Natasha for the space. DJ Jerry and
Jen for the music. The
Roasterie, ERIC Fleming others for raffle and

Magazine for the awesome write up before
hand.

| KC Wave in Paris 07:

| Its
time to practice your french! KC Wave is heading to Paris
in May of 2007. We'll have an informational meeting soon
so that we can touch base on cost and fundraising.
We want to take a big contingent this year and make a huge
splash with our Pink Flamingo. So get to training,
join the yahoo group and stay tuned for more
announcements. |

| KC Wave is one of 40 teams belonging to
International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA), sharing
the mission to promote participation in aquatic sports among lesbians, gay men,
bisexuals, trans and their friends in the community.
KC Wave also belongs to
Missouri Valley Swimming (MOVY) and regularly attends swim meets (locally and abroad). There are no "try outs" for KC Wave; swimmers of all skill levels are welcome.

KC Wave Dinner Parties
Thank you to Carey and Stephen who both bought our
hsoted dinner parties during the fashion show in June.

your team-mates for creating such a WONDERFUL evening!
The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were
delectable, the service was impeccable, and your
overall enthusiasm , professionalism, fun made the entire
